Okay so I'm tired of trying to pump gas in. In my other vehicles, takes a meer 2 minutes to fill a 37 gallon tank if that. The bronco..uhh 30 minutes?

Anyway, I was thinking of adding a vent tube.. anyone do this yet?

I was thinking of drilling a hole near the fill tube..running that tube through a fuel filter (clear one I have) and tap a hole where the gas cap is..this way I can place a cork in the tube when not filling up. Will this help letting excess fumes come out, or will I need a whole new fill tube? I want to solve this, soon.

You have one already in it; it may be kinked, fouled or whatever;

Vent & Fill Tube pics in pre 87 & 87 & up; "...Early trucks use a small corrugated plastic vent tube tucked into the top of the steel filler neck , but it often kinks & blocks fuel from entering the tank easily. Later trucks use a heavy plastic filler hose inside the steel vent neck, which allows MUCH easier filling.The necks are interchangeable, so it's a good upgrade for an old truck, especially if filling is becoming a problem. It also allows the use of a more modern gas cap..."
