Okay so another Gas related question, and no I'm not asking if prices will go down, that is a stupid question. I want to know how to find out through my vin or a website how large my stock tank is.

Only way i know of is to check with vendors like Bronco Graveyard, or LMC truck, for your year model. Should be a 33 gal. tank on your 94. The determining factor for whether or not a new tank will fit is the size of the hole for the sending unit/fuel pump assembly. That is different for some year models. JSM84

Just an editorial comment or two. That's a great price for a new steel tank-$100. The kicker is the su/fp assly ($300). One thing I dislike on the Bronco is the overly large tank hanging down under the frame, reducing ground clearance. The skid plate helps to protect it, but causes the tank to rust out by trapping moisture. A few mods I'm aware of are cutting an access hole in the floor above the tank to be able to replace the su/fp assly when it goes bad. Another mod I've looked into doing is replacing the tank with a smaller one, say from an F-350. My 88 has a 13-gal tank that's only about 4-5 inches tall. Problem is, it doesn't exactly fit the Bronco frame and you lose about 30% of your fuel capacity. Maybe someone has a good solution for a street rig. I opted to install a 15 gal fuel cell in the bed. I'm not sure about size and all, but as for the rust, I ran a poly tank when I had to replace mine since it rusted out, and never had a problem. Always had some plastic sealer and some screws in case of leaks and whatnot, but never needed em. Bottomed out on the tank a time or two and it kept on working for me. I think I got it for around 135, without shipping.

I got an idea.. Drive her empty ( or as close as possible ) and fill her up!

Kidding, you probably thought of that already.

Yeah I'm just confirming it should be 34 gallons stock.
