Gas Pedal Loose

So i just bought a 91 Ford Bronco and I'm really excited have a few things i need to fix or replace but the one I'm looking at now is the gas pedal is loose as in wiggles side to side and back n forth. Any thoughts would be nice thanks guys.

I'd get down there and figure out why it is loose. Might just be a bolt or two need some tightening.

Its loose at the pivot point on the pedal, not sure if you replace the pivot point with a new one or the pedal itself.

btw, OUR SPONSOR here, Jeff's Bronco Graveyard doesn't list the assy or repair parts for the 91

92-96 assemblies are different, fyi. But, see if this will work or you can use the info to repair your assy...anyhowZ,

in 92-96; "...The pedal arm is simply pressed onto the splines of the shaft, and it can slide sideways, becoming loose & noisy. To fix it, lay the pedal arm across the jaws of a vise with the pedal mounting bracket free between the jaws. Then hammer the pivot shaft down thru the pedal arm like a nail thru a board. If the pedal is still loose, use a blunt drift to damage the splines, then drive the pedal onto the damaged area, & damage the splines on the other side to lock it in..."
