I need to replace the fusible link on my 73.

I'm thinking about the HI-AMP switch like they used in Bronco Driver issue #9. However, 150A seems to large to protect anything.

What was the amperage rating on the original fusible links?

i am NOT saying this is the rite thing to do, but..... on my '77 i had a a problem with a link and i just cut it out, tied the 2 wires together, and thought i would fix it when i got home... i think it is still running that way- 10 yrs later. when you're stuck in a field and yer truck won't run... you do what ya gotta do... especially when your not suppose to be there.
