I recently got a new stereo set for my 92 Bronco XLT, (she's my baby) and I was wiring it up. I crossed two wires by accident and got concerned. I started her up and she started fine, so I didn't think much of it. The stereo doesn't work yet, that is another project for another day...

This is because as I got in and started Sheila (the name I gave her) up and started driving, I realized my Odometer and Speedometer do not work. I know what switches to look for on the fuse box, but I do not know where the fuse box is located. I would appreciate any help you can give me. Many thanks fellow Bronco lovers!

Yo TeeJay,

Your cab fuse block is in lower left side of dash under the vent as shown in this pic by 92vabronco;

dash1.jpg

The cover has a finger grip; grasp it and pull it straight off.

The fuse layout is on backside of the cover

Fuses 8 and 18

Hopefully one or both are blown.

If so and you replace them and the Programnable Speedometrr/Odometer (PSOM) are still inoperative, check the fuses in the Power Distribution Box (PDB).

PDB is Located under the hood on the drivers side fenderwell, on driver's side of the air cleaner housing.

****-Fuses Serve in-cab fuses

J for fuse 18

and

S for fuse 8

There should be a small fuse puller attached to inside of the cover. If not, it and regular size fuses and ****-fuses are available at parts stores.

Replace fuse with correct amp rating.

Blown and good fuse depictions

Good luck T,

Al
