I took the stock rusty tank out of my rising rust '73 project and replaced it with a new metal 23 gallon tank. I had to drill two holes in the frame at the rear of the tank, but besides that, it fit perfect. I used a few blocks of wood, and a floor jack to raise it into place and to hold it there while I did my work. I did have to make a few spacers for the front as well (now that I think of it) because it would have been to high and rubbed up against the rear floor pan without them. Pretty simple install however. Good Luck.

Hey ,I didn't realize that your in Cheyenne,I'm in Afton ,Wyoming. We might be the last two E.B.'s in the state. All the others are in Cal,and the remainders are in Wa.You know that B.C. broncos 24 gallon is nice, mainly because you can use it regardless of your body lift,it is adjustable, and you never know if you might change your B/L.Hey let me know if you want to go to one of these bronco get togethers,I've got six kids,Its nice of you to offer letting them ride in your E.B.

your right we are some of the few left in the state. i know of 6 here and mine appears to be one of the better maintained. always keep those others in mind for extra parts. hadn't noticed bc had a 24 gallon. did you put it in yours? it is nice that it is adjustable for body lifts. right now mine doesn't have a body lift and i hope not to have to put one in. right now i have a 3" superlift kit and 285/75/16's. i am trying to keep it as close to stock as i can. this i probably all that i will do. as far as motor/trans i will update that just not sure on what yet. the bronco get togethers that you talk about. where are they? the only one i know about is down south with the greenies in CO. or in CAL. if you know of others let me know. i am always up for a drive in the money pit. may have to take a loan out for fuel but what the ****. and if i have the room for the kids the more the merry.
