Hey all, is there any to check my fuel guage to see if it is ok? I don't want to drop the tanks and change the sending units if it's not necessary. It's the only one I haven't fixed,I'm tired of counting miles to empty.

SURE..!

Short the wire that plugs on to the sender to ground momentarily. That would run the needle toward full.

However, if the wire is N/G....no movement.

Also., the EB tanks have accessible send. units W/O removing tank. (fuel empty or low)

The temp., oil, & fuel gages are all energized by the same 6v mini volt. reg. attached to the gage cluster.

"It's the only one I haven't fixed"

Meaning "sending unit" OR "cluster needle gage"..?

Test the senders with an ohm meter. You can do this W/O removing senders.
