I just got a 302 engine block and the pistons are frozen in place. I have tried soaking them with wd-40 to try and get them to come loose but it is not working. I was wondering if anyone knows a good way to get the pistons out. Another question is it still has the torque converter on it. Is there any way that I could get it off since I can only get to 2 of the bolts? Any help would be appreciated

Fill each cylinder with about half diesel and half Marvel Mystery Oil. Depending on how much crap has built up, it may take a few weeks of soaking. If you're patient enough this method nearly always works though.

As for your torque converter, I'm afraid you're stuck with it on there until you can free up the engine.

Good luck
