The front of my Bronco speaks when I am roling. I have run along side, while my girlfriend drove, to try to figure out where the squeak is coming from. I have removed both wheels and brakes but have not found the squeak. My next move is to replace the rotors and calipers which I will be doing this weekend. Any suggestions of the source of the sound will be helpful. Thank you.

You didn't say what year your Bronc' was but I have a '94. I had the problem once right after I changed the brake pads. If you're running 15 inch rims, you might be hitting the inside of them with the brake pad retainer clip things. It took me about 30 minutes to figure it out. It never dawned on me to look at the inside of my rims but there was a nice little gouge all the way around the inside of the rim. Once I fixed the retainers the problem was solved.

The squeel pads are probably touching the rotor. Also check axle u-joints, driveline u-joints and CV, wheel bearings. I wouldn't replac the callipers unless they don't work properly. Thats just a wast of cash.

I will check that out as I just did my pads, rotors and calipers. Thank you.
