frame rivets

can anyone tell me the easiest way to remove rivets from the radius arm drop braket ? i am installing a 6" lift and that is the only thing holding me up. thanks.

I just removed a whole lot of them on my Bronco, I tried every way I could think of, the easiest quickest way I found was center punch, drill with 1/8 drill bit and then a 7/16. use the best bits you can get your hands on, they are worth the money. I used cobalt bits i think they were called and they went through like butter

When the head falls off, you can easily punch the rest of the rivot through, if the head doesnt fall off, whack it with a chisel. Will come off easy

Not to counter yardape, but i've found taking a cut-off wheel and cutting an x in the center of the head and then taking a good sharp cold chisel and hammer that they come out a little easier... :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
