I've found a Ford T-18 4 speed that I believe is out of a 2wd truck. It has a short tailshaft with the bolt on yoke on the output shaft. I want to convert an early Bronco with a V8/ 3 speed manual with Ford Dana 20 transfer case. Will this T-18 work with this output shaft?

I understand that I have to get an aftermarket adapter between the T-18 and the Dana 20 with the correct bolt patterns. Do I retain the factory gear, bearing and shaft from my V8 Intermediate Housing to put in the aftermarket adapter?

Thanks,

Wayne

The T-18 will work just like the NP435. You still need to get the intermediate housing from a 6 cylinder EB to replace the one you currently have between your trans & x-fer.
