Ford Color Schemes

Hi,

I am looking to replace a few interior pieces of my '82 XLT Lariat FSB. The color is a dark red. Is there anywhere I can find out what the colors name or number is for sure. Also does anyone have alternative ideas to replacing a dash pad with a busted out speaker space, other than covering it with a cb or something.

I have a dash pad outta a 84 ford F250 its the same as yours . Not busted or crackd . Its a tan color . PM me if interested . /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

If Blades color is not just what you want, they make paint for trim parts. Also, if you look on your safety compliance sticker on the driver side rear door post they have the paint code for the exterior, (second line from the bottom), and under the Body lable is a 3 character code, page from 83 shop manual is attached. The codes still apply to your truck.

There are pro's & Con's with using the paint. I have tried painting interior plastic in the past with limited success. You could always use a carpeted "Dash Pad" to cover a bad dash. I think they look good but it all depends on what YOU like.
