The problem with your 94 Bronco and a Ford 9" swap is due to the speed sensor on the factory Ford 8.8" rear axle. IN order for your ECM (computer) to work for the motor and transmission, you need a speed sensor from the rear axle to send a signal to the ECM. There is now a mod for the transfer case that adds the speed sensor to use the Ford 9" rear axle, if you do a search. The Ford 9" rearend that will fit your 94 Bronco was offered on 78/79 Broncos as well as the 80-83 Broncos. Some Broncos up to the 86 models came with the 9" rear axle, But some of the 1983-up models came with the Ford 8.8" rear as well.
