I'm getting ready to change out the fluid in my front axle, tranny, and transfer case. I looked in my CHILTON man. and it says that my Front Axle should be straight 80 or 90, and my tranny should be 85 90W. I went to the local autozone and they don't carry 85 only 80 90w.... and their know-it-all computer says my axle should be straight 80W... which of course they don't carry... soooo, I decided to ask the experts. What are you supposed to put in your front axle and manual trannies? The only thing both the computer and the manual matched was the transfer case ATF II... Thanks for the help..
