filter chargers

Anyone try any of the highl-speed filter charger elements, K&N, Ect... I have a drop in K&N. Im wondering if anyone has any experience with the kits that replace the filter and the intake tube that runs to the throddle-body. Are these worth the money and if so what kinds/brands are a good buy. I have a 96 bronco with a 5.8L. Thanx

Yeah,

I have a '93 XLT and I dropped in a K&N filtercharger about a year ago and I just love the thing! I don't want to sound like I work for K&N or anything, but I think it is the cat's pajamas! It seemed to really help a lot with pickup and gas mileage a little too. Of course it sounds really cool, so you want to floor it all the time, which of course isn't good for the mileage.... I think I picked it up for like $150 or so... a pretty good investment. I am looking at the vortex thing that goes on the throttle body and spaces it out about an inch... I hear those are worth it too.
