1970 Bronco, 302, pwr steering and manual trans. Bronco had standard radiator with flex fan and spacer and worked great until it sprung a leak.

Bought the new 4 core radiator and put it in. I Put the flex fan back on with the standard spacer (so fan clears pwer steer pump) and found not enough room to slide the fan shroud back in and mount. Took off the fan and mounted the shroud and didnt have enouh room to put on the fan.....what gives????? Also, the fan shroud dosent mount to the radiator either, I will have to figure a way to attach it some how.

I am thinking of cutting mine in half to put it on and then figure some way to attach them back together like a quick disconnet.

Anyone have some ideas????

Hay Will..,

That's strange......? Are you sure it's the correct rad..? Where did you get it..?

I Remember on some, I would put the shroud down in first & let it float/hang over the fan. Then slide the rad. down into the supports.

(Assume you got the 4 core support/insulators.)

But.., if there's no mount points (for shroud)....that's a mystery...
