I have a 96 bronco, and can't keep the fan belt on. My water pump went out. Had it changed, and ever since the fan belt keeps coming off... destroying everything. Could the belt be getting put on backwards? any other suggestions?

I have a '90, '93 and '94 Broncos. The '94 had the same problem over a three year period. The previous owner had the AIR pump changed. The pulley was put on backwards and was just out of line enough to tear up the serpentine belt every two years or so. I removed the pulley(SOP loosen and/or tighten the bolts with the serpentine belt on, then remove the belt and then remove the pulley).I have a 96 bronco, and can't keep the fan belt on.
