Are any parts from some the f-series trucks interchangeable or be made to fit on an 84 XLT? I'm looking for a straight axle to replace my IFS, some suspension parts like leaf springs/shackles/brackets and some longer coils to go on the front if I end up keeping my IFS, also a drop pitman arm. I'm lookin to lift my bronco at least 8 inches if not 10 inches. There's a junkyard around here I wanna rummage through and see if what I can find. If anyone has knowledge of parts that can work on my bronc, I'd greatly appreciate it. :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I believe alot of folks who have done the SAS use Dana 44 out of 78-79 F-150's Bronco's.I think Jeff's Bronco Graveyard offer's a kit to do the SAS for your Bronco, you may wanna check them out!

Most all parts from 80 - 86 are interchangable between F150's and Broncos of the same vintage. As far as the axle as previously stated you can use a 78 - 79 front axle or if you want to beef it up go to a 78 - 79 F250 axle set. Just make sure that you keep the differential ratio matched.

Good luck,

:)>-
