hey guy's! need some info.i have a 92 f-150 with a t-18 borg warner trans ,a1356 transfer case and you know it's a 4x4. ineed to know if anyone knows the number of the seal that goes in the alum extension housing.mine is missing and ford does't know anything about it . i know it has to have one cause my gear oil is filling up the housing and making my front seal get soft on the tranfer case.any advice? thanks! p.s. i'm new to the site so bear with me ! :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Welcome to the site. I would check with a good tranny shop or auto parts store. I would go with the tranny shop first, then check the auto parts store. They should be able to provide you the info. Asked to to talk to the tranny mech at the Ford dealer, he may be able to help you out better then the guy at the parts counter.

If you cannot buy it do what we did in the military make it. All you need is gasket paper, real easy to do and you can get it at almost any parts store.
