Are you running headers or stock exhaust manifolds? What size is the exhaust pipe, 2-1/2" or larger? You might look at running dualglasspacks if you want a "loud' sound instead of the drone of the Flowmaster. JSM84

This is just my opinion, but I think all 351's should've came from the factory with 40 series flowmasters.

Everyone has their preference, but I have been using flowmaster for years, and I love how it sounds personally. I'm down to one cat into a single 3" system through a 40 series, and I get nothing but compliments on how it sounds. And mine is only a 302.

I got flowmaster 40 series. I love the sound. It's loud enough to notice and has a nice deep tone. BUT it also isn't too loud and annoying.

I go camping a lot in this truck, and some nights idle it for extra heat, so I didn't want something super loud to keep me up at night. I have no regrets at all.

on my 300 6 in my 81 bronco I had a straight pipe with a cherry bomb glass pack. sounded nice and angry. the one time I tried going into an underground parking garage ( which was a disaster cause my bronco was too tall). when I got ****** off, alot car alarms started going off.

hahah ripped my old cb antenna off too.
