new intake, timing system(duraspark), fuel system including pump. run new vacuum lines. Carbs are a lot less complicated but if you have FI and it works good, i would definatley stay with it. I wish i had FI just because it is easier to deal with, unless it breaks.

Do you have to pass emissions testing? If so, in most states you have to have the original controls on the engine for the year truck involved. However, we here in NY can get away with most anything up till 93. Any truck after that has to go thru the testing machine which links directly to the state system.

Good luck,

:)>-

Hey Dorian, is this a factory setup, or did you swap in the 351W and C-6. I am looking for an EFI engine and tranny, and was just wondering if it is factory or not?

Yes this is a factory setup My '89EB has the same setup. I love the strength of the C6, but would like some OD on road trips.

I would stay with the EFI, Unless you have a donor truck to swap the entire wiring harness. Belive it , or not, this is easier than the "RIGGING" you will have to do to swap to a Carb. If you are willing to swap the harness, find a wrecked '89-'93 manual trans Mustang and upgrade to MAF, you will be much happier.
