what is the trick to replace an ignition switch.

removal and replacement?

Boulder City, Nevada (Las Vegas area)
1) pull neg. batt. term.

2) turn key to acc.

3) carefully depress pin (paperclip end in hole below key hole)

4) turn key counter-clockwise & pull lock cyl. out.

5) press in on the rear of switch & rotate counterclock. (looking fr. the back) 1/8 turn

6) remove benzel, switch & spacer

7) remove nut

8) remove gauge & accessory feed wires, pull off insulated plug fr. rear of switch

9) insert screwdriver in lock opening & turn that slot full counterclock.

Installing

8) thru 1) (position the retainer on the switch with the "open-face" away fr. the switch)
