just bought a 93 xlt with a 5.0 and auto hubs and electric t case any way the problem is it also has a remote start and alarm which do not a damn thing when i looked under the dash it was like some bad dream there is wires spliced every where and some just cut hoping it was when they took the stereo and amp out

but there is one extension cord (yes it really is an extension cord) running from the battery to a splice under the dash and then under the truck to the area of the left rear bumper so i am planning to remove the add-on crap and returning it to stock does any one know where to get the wire harnesses from or a good wire schematic

I found a few on-line diagram sources & have them listed here:

The Autozone (Chilton) is close to the ARRC diagrams, some colors may be slightly diff. due to model yr changes.

If you fig. out the remote start/alarm's manufacturer, it could help you bec. many have on-line diagrams and you can work backwards to see what factory wiring was cut with any relay (controls) spliced in.

gl!
