Ok.
The other day I got up to take my kids to the sitter. Packed everyone up in the old Bronco and put the key in the ignition turned it and nothing. Sh*t I say and I unload the kids and mo&jo do the rest of the work till I get a new battery in the bronco. So I get the new battery and install it
the old Bronco starts up just fine, BUT Now it has this click like when the hazard lights are on, flashing of the instrument panel lights and emergency lights on the out side flash as well.
It does this for a repetition of sixty times and stops for about 15 sec. and starts again for another sixty times, this has been going on for two days now. What I have been doing for the last two day is unhooking the battery so as not to drain it. It also does this when I am driving, click and flash, click and flash. When the key is not in the ignition it also does this click and flash, But tonight when I got home it did the click and flash thing and stopped and has not done it again, battery is still hooked up. I know though if I go out and open the drivers side door it will start up and if I start the bronco up it will start again.
Does anyone know what is going on here?
ps.
I put a optima red top in as the new battery, I beleive this should not be the problem but you never know.
Thanks for all the help
