EGR Valve

If my EGR valve was bad how would I know ,what would it cause my Bronco to do. When I first crank it up the RMP bounch back and forth for about 2 mins.

Do you have a Ck Eng. light on?

and you have a 93?

and ck for Codes;

Some bad or dirty parts that can pop on da CEL are:

EGR Tube

EGR Vacuum Regulator (EVR)

EGR Vacuum Reservoir

EGR Valve

EGR Valve Position (EVP)

Yes the check engine light is on. Yes its a 93. I replaced the O2 sensor and still the light is on. Ill do the check tonight and see what happens thanks for the info.

did you do clear the code after changing the sensor, and does your rpms act erratic like it bounces up and down and smoothes out or just all the time, and have you noticed any loss in pedal, like if you stomp it does it move and does it ever not go if you stomp the pedal.

DID THE SELF TEST FOUND OUT ITS MY TP SENSOR. THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP GUYS
