My check engine light recently started flickering on me when running around 30-40mph and the Bronco can't settle into an RPM. It keeps jumping back and forth all over the place. I brought it to autozone for them to scan and it came up with EGR Valve closed error. I went ahead and replaced the EGR valve and EGR valve sensor. I disconnect the battery while I was doing the work and when I ran it to work this morning it's still doing the same thing. I'm going to get this light tested today at lunch. Could the tube that connects to the bottom of the EGR Valve be clogged and be causing the problem or can something else be going on and tripping the EGR Valve check engine light?

Rodger I also had the same problem I agree with screaminbronco just replace it and it will go off. Also it is an easy swap and descently cheap. Barta
