so today im back to the bronco i bought a edelbrock intake and 1404 carb from ebay over the winter and just now installing them i got the intake on no prob and thought the carb as well... when i start it i have to pump the gas to get it to run and its throwing some flames out off and on (thats when my buddy stepped back lol) we think it might be running lean? it wont idle unless i close the choke then it doesn't stop or i didn't find out if it stops but it sounded way to high. i dont know if theres something i didnt do right or if i need something else. i didnt touch the distributor so i dont think its the timing and got everything else hooked back to where it goes (im pretty sure) the only info edelbrock gave me for running lean was check for air leaks and i dont see any gas on mating surfaces so im assuming there is no air leaks? any insight would be great
