Hey Wjp....welcome.

M5 got you the easy info.

Many parts are labeled as "obsolete" by Automotive Manufactures because they are over 15 years old and no longer are required to be available through dealers.

That doesn't make them unavailable to be purchased. There are many companies that buy these parts to be resold as NOS...New Old Stock.

There are also the companies that reproduce the parts. Be careful, there are good quality parts made in the USA, Canada, and Europe, but many of the cheep parts found on places like Ebay, are poor quality from China.

Often you can Google the part and then search the results. It could take some time, but most often it pays off.

Good Luck

If you have a good Ford parts man, he can do a search of the US Ford dealers to see if anyone has one in stock.  They may be listed as obsolete but as dealer some place in the US may still have one.  I have had my dealer do that for me and they also had it shipped to them.

Good luck,

:)>-
