I just bought my first truck a 89 bronco and know little about trucks. I was wondering if any one could explain how to remove the drivers side door panel to run a temp. sensor thur it to outside of the door under the door handle.

Thanks

If I am not mistaken they have plastic/metal clips about every 8-10 inches along the edge of the panel. You need a tool to pop these out of the holes(auto parts store has the tool), don't forget the screws in the armrest, door latch, and some times near the storage pouch at the bottom if it has one. Then you must lift the panel up and off the door.

Hope this helps you out.

On my 88, I took the screws out of the bottom of the panel, and the door handle;

Unscrewed my lock (easier to remove panel w/o that damn thing sticking up;

used a flat head ***** driver to pop the panel off of its clips (no the best method but it worked for me);

Then lifted the panel at an angle with the handle. Just be careful because if you have power locks and windows, the wires for those are short and will pull apart if you are not careful. Good luck. :D/ (PS. only took me a minute or two on each panel-it is pretty easy)
