Disc Brake/Master Cylinder

Have a disc brake conversion kit coming for my 69, here's the question- I would like to use the existing master cyl. has anyone had a problem with this. Someone said that the flow is to restricted for disc brakes? Appreciate any input.

I had disk/drum brakes and ran the drum/drum MC. Right now I have disk/disk with the original MC but, if you do that then you really should get an upgraded MC. I just haven't found the time to swap out to it.
