Seabronc, on the top front of the valve cover there is something that is shaped like and about the same size as a paint cap that has a large port coming out the side, what is this and where does it get hooked to?

This is my last question for a couple of days, I promise.

Without a picture I am only guessing. If that is where the oil goes into the engine, it is for a hose to connect the PCV system to the air filter housing. It is the other end of the system from the PCV valve. Inside the housing there would be a filter for the air going into the valve cover. Since you don't have a stock system, you can use an aftermarket cap with a built in air filter.

Sory I don't have any I6 pictures to use as examples. Anyone have some I6 pictures to share with Bill?

Bill, you can use pictures of any size, but 600 to 1124 wide would be great.
