I've been saying I was gonna buy a bronco, but now I have a hard descion to make. My dad has offered me his 96 Chrysler Sebring for $5,000. It has a tiny bit of surface rust, but we are gonna sand it out and use touch up paint on it. The tachometer and digital odometer don't work, but it's a simple wiring fix. It is a convertible and the top works fine. It has some hail damage and some scratches, but my real question is, what is worth $5,000? A 1994 Ford fullsize Bronco with minimal rust and 89,000 miles, or a 1996 Chrysler Sebring convertible with 67,000 miles. Please help. I live in Minnesota, so I would love to have a 4x4, but the sebring would help with gas, and attract some ladies. :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Bronco's attract ladies too. I would tell you go for the Bronco, but I'm biased. Figure out your priorities, and go from there

and i think sebrings are *** cars. but thats just me

I just joined over at Chryslerforums.com and everybody there says at about 85,000 miles, the sebrings start to fall apart. Like I said, I want a four wheel drive truck and I would feel really bad if I scuffed my dad's car. I am leaning more towards the Bronco right now, because everyone says they are a great truck. But more opinons would be greatly appreciated.

You'll be bored with the seabring in two weeks!

With a Bronco, you'll never be bored. There is always something to add or tinker with... sure, you'll never have any money. But you'll be happy, and you defintely have the ladies!

Bronco Pride!!

oj 95 and ocala hit the nail on the head. the ladies love the broncos and convertibles are fun for a littel while but how long does it last. does it snow and freeze often where you live if so always good to have 4 wheel drive

I had the same choice to make, well for me it was alittle bit more general... truck or car

besides the fact that i took the bronco and have never regretted it, trucks in general last longer and have more uses than cars. So the money you would have saved on gas you would end up using in repairs to the car.

Plus the only ladies that go for the car are the high maintenance, and their goes the rest of your money.

obviously the choice is the bronco

Thanks for all the replies, I am going with the Bronco now and my dad will sell the sebring in the spring. All my friends said to go with the Bronco except a few blonde girls that I know. It does snow alot where I live and now I just have to find the right bronco and the right girl to make it complete. :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> Keep on replying if you want to, I like to here opinions!

OK. First of all, ALL Broncos are convertibles. Any Bronco has the potential to be a chick magnet. I myself traded an '86 Vette on my '92 Bronco. And it wasn't because I had to. I wanted a Bronco plain and simple. I've also owned my Bronco 5 times longer than I have any other vehicle. There is nothing special about a Sebring and the Bronco will hold its value. You made the right choice.
