I have a 75 Bronco with a bad Pinion Yoke on the front. I need to find a yoke and replace it, but I have a couple of questions.

Where can I get the yoke. None of the parts guys list the yoke. Does anyone have the Spicer Number or Recomendations? Can I use one from a 75 Blazer (I got a complete front axle setup for the disc brakes -and the yoke is in good condition)?

When I replace the yoke, do I need a shim kit to reshim the Pinion - I see there are shims on the yoke side of the pinion?

Any other tips on changing the yoke will be appreciated.

Thanks for the help

Slide the old yoke off, leave the shims and replace it with a new one. Don't forget to replace the seal while you're there. I usually go to a 4x4 junk yard and find a decent replacement for cheap, just match up the splines and outer diameter. Look for scratches on the side of a used yoke otherwise it will leak.
