hello everybody, I'm new here. Hopefully I will be gettin my first bronco tomorrow. Not sure what year, but it looks pretty knew definately full size. Super clean, BIG tires, 4wd works hi and low, second motor. Only 2200 cash Im payin. But I was wonderin if any yall made or thought about making some custom doors. Like only the lower half made out of steel tubing, no windows. Or what about cuttin the back top off, like the part above the back seat and cargo area. Making a steel roll bar cage over it and coverin with vinyl or something to keep out rain but still removable. Man I got a lot of ideas, anybody have any input?

Welcome to Bronco Zone!!! >

The rear top section simply unbolts from the bed and cab to make the Bronco convertable. There is plenty of info on how to remove the top and some custom half-door set-ups at this link in the Body section:

lose them all together? What about relocating them, anywhere else up front, can that be done?

IF you still have the factory speakers in the doors, I agree with leaving them out of a custom half-door. You can try relocating some tweeters along the A-pillar or windshield post, ot replace the single dash speaker with a tweeter/mid. A single 8" sub in the center-console or under the driver's seat adds more kick, as do subs or 6x9's in the rear panels at the stock locations. I have 7x10's mounted in those rear mounts, with some support.

If you get a 92 or newer these would be a good option if you go with half doors and want front speakers:http://www.crutchfield.com/S-htMBJz52cZ9/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?i=044K200820&id=morephotos&a=&s=0&cc=01&g=182850#morephotos
