Well I've had this bronco for a little over two years now (only recently a daily driver), and I know when I bought this truck my cruise control and my fuel pump worked. The fuel pump stopped pushing fuel. I was getting less than 6 volts to the pump. I posted and was told to replace the fuel pump relays. I did that and the symptoms remained. Finally I needed the bronc to pull a trailer, so I spliced into a keyed circuit to temporarily eliminated the problem. I have the 12v coming from another circuit and going through the rest of the fuel circuit. So I get to the real question. Would having a faulty fuel circuit disable the cruise control or is there another issue that I need to address?
yo B!
I can't see any commonilty betw. fuel/cruise ckts

some info from the TSB:
"GENERAL
Does the horn work? If not, check the horn circuit fuse, horn relay and horn circuit wiring.
(esp. if you swapped relays between Horn & Fuel Pump)Do the stop lamps light when the brake pedal is depressed? If not, check the stop lamp circuit fuse, stoplamps, wiring and stop lamp switch."

Chilton On_line via AutoZone has a diagram for the 86
see Fig. 20: 1986 F-Series pick-up and Bronco, section two - verify color codes; since as Seabronc has Noted many times in past, there non-specfic year wiring diagrams are not 100% correct or have faults/errors.
check EEC Relay; Yellow to FP Relay for 12 volts; ck EEC Relay/contacts, etc. from IGN Sw, etc.
From Haynes via Steve; (I trust his opinion better than a generic Chilton)
EEC POWER Relay
30 - Y (always )
87 - Bu, DB, R (out to EEC)
85 - Wh/LB, R/LG (12V in from ig.sw.)
86 - Bk/LG, Bk (ground)
FP RELAY
30 - Y (always 12V)
87 - Pk/Bk, Br, DG/Y (out to inertia sw.)
85 - R (12V in from EEC PWR relay)
86 - T/LG, LB/Or (ground from EEC)
Fuel Pump Relay Socket Corrosion Info; also, if you had corrosion in your relay socket, then you probably have it other places. one at a time unplug all relays and connectors on that fender and spray them down with contact cleaner. then after you let that do it's job for about 30min-1hr, go back and unplug each relay and connector again (one at a time) this time put them together with di-electric grease. you can buy a tube of it from any electrical/electronics supply or auto store. make sure you get everything plugged back in
