Crate engines.

Allright i tried doin a search and couldnt find anything might just not have look hard enough. But i was wonderin if you guys can point me in the direction of crate engines that are totally put together with everything needed so i can just drop it in my 83. Any sights or anything like that would be awesome preferably candian cuz thats where i live but anyting will do.

I really don't think Ford has a crate engine program like Chevy dose.

The only places I can think of for complete motors is Jegs.com or summitracing.com.

There might be others but I just don't know of them.

If you go to http://www.dogpile.com and do a search on "Ford crate engine", without the quotes you will get hits on a couple of different places one is: http://www.enginesdepot.com/default.asp . You can get a long block for about $1,250.00 US. Wth a long block you transfer the external stuff from your engine to the new one.

if your on the side of canada above Wa. here in Spokane there are 2 places besides your auto parts stores, one is called S&S engines and the other is Ram engines they will build you whatever your willing to pay for.

That search will also get you some places that will supply a complete redy to go performance engine for around $5,000 US.
