I have a 1988 Bronco that is leaking coolant from underneath the heater.

It looks like a house should be conected from were the leak is but i'm not sure.

If its leaking inside the cab the heatercore failed. They can fail just by replacing the heater hoses. Its a soldered joint so it cracks easy.

Yes, a coolant leak inside the cab is due to a bad heater core. Not too bad to change out in the 88.
