Hello,
I'm wondering if anyone has had this problem...
Starting my '91 Bronco (5.0 w/EFI) cold it Idles very badly (has a miss), but if I hold the throttle down about 1500 rpms it will run like crap for a bit and then clear up and run fine.... then other times it starts and idles fine. Also the idle sometimes sticks arond 1000-1100 rpms but if I tap the throttle (like you would a carb to take off the choke) it will idle down to 750 rpms. One other trick it does it it will fire back thru the intake from a dead stop, like bad intake gasket or the timing is out of adjustment , but only every once in a while. I've adjusted the timing, tuned it, Changes the IAC to no avail, I've read posts about the water temp sensor being bad....will this throw a code or is it one of those "hidden" fixes.
Thanks in advance....Sal R.
