i was out driving on normal bumpy roads went to push my clutch in and heard a pop. couldn't get the truck out of gear and was pulling off and am now stuck nto the issue though just my bad driving at 3am. my problem is that i went back to find the part that broke and found the mount for the clutch linkage. it is the mount if looking from the front is on the right side against the frame. i am curious if i am going to have to see about just welding and hopeing or if i can find the part anywhere. i cannot use my truck right now because something is up with my front diff. was working now not. and so i am stuck getting it pulled tomorrow but need help to find the part. lmc truck doens't have the part and neither does bronco graveyard.

i want to know what to replace on that fastening point. i don't like autos they are a lazy mans way to get around. i have never owned an atuomatic and will never own one. beside you can get better choices when running a manual

Yeah, I like manual, but if you've ever done a clutch and had to drop the tranny 3 more times after, you will hate manual.

1st. time-clutch

2nd time-***** cylinder bleeder broke

3rd time- tranny got stuck in gear and returned to shop

4th time- flywheel got gears sheared
