I just recently solved my engine misfire problem and today was the first day that i have driven the bronco since i fixed it. to ensure that i solved the problem i power loaded the engine while i was at a stop sign. there was no sign of a miss so i continued on. Well i noticed a clicking sound when i pulled into my drive way i stopped put it in park and rev'd the engine to make sure i didn't throw a rod there was no sound i backed up and i heard it again i pulled forward and the faster i drove the more it clicked and it got louder. i also noticed that when i drive at a slow speed i feel a light knocking under my feet i have a 3 in body lift and i've looked to see if anything could be hitting it but i'm stumped can anyone help or have a clue what my problem can be? i'm really not looking forward to having a major tranny problem

Have you checked to make sure nothing is hitting driveshaft such as an e-brake cable?

look at the u-joints. especially the double cardan on the transfer-case side rear. look at the cv ball and sleeve on the inside (its hard to see) if you see fresh metal shavings, its time for a rebuild. easiest way to check the u-joint would be to remove the driveshaft. make sure you mark exactly where it goes and replace it in the same spot to presever any balance issues and prevent vibrations when you put it back on.

good luck
