Change Tranny Fluid

I have been looking at my tranny trying to figure out best way to drain it this being my first time messing with it just decided to come on here and ask someone the best way to do it i dont see a drain plug i have a 351w with a c6 tranny so any help would be appriciated thanks

Unless you have an aftermarket pan on the tranny there will not be a drain plug. You have to take the pan off to drain it. The best way is to take the bolts out on 3 sides of the pan and let the majority of the fluid out. Once you have done this take the others out(should only be 3 or 4 left) replace the tranny filter while you are there. Dont forget to drain the torque converter!!!!

Yes after you start it and let it run, go through the gears then shut it down and check it again. You should have to add some more fluid.
