You know I asked the same question.I prefer the avs over the truck avenger,but I didnt want a 650,I had a reg 600 edelbrock and it was a little too big,I went with the Holley truck avenger 470,putting it in sat....well see, /

IMOP, unless you have taken steps to provide for better airflow through your engine IE...(Good intake manifold, Good heads, Bigger and less restrictive exhaust, performance cam) then you won't really realize any gains over something like a 450 cfm two barrel. In fact the 2 barrel on an otherwise stock engine will probably provide more intake "velocity".

Putting a 650 on it will work but you won't get much use out of the secondaries since the engine in stock configuration can't draw that much.
