I just purchased a 76 Bronco. My goal is to build one of the baddest off road Broncos around. I'v Been looking at suspension kits, James Duff Monster kit W/ the long travel suspension. Does Any body have any suggestions on what kind of suspension I should Buy. I'm looking for a very soft ride, but that can handle some hard shots.

buy the Cage Offroad kit. Duff is the 1.1 version of the Cage equipment because it was actually designed by Cage (he used to work for JD then went out on his own). Then get the extended rad. arms from him.

If you want to go extreme, then do a coil over conversion if you have the time, money & inclination. Change axles to D60s with 5.88 gears, lock it both ends, Atlas II xfer case.....the list can go on and on. You just gotta figure out where you want to draw the line :) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

By the way, welcome to the board.

The Cage suspension is very nice but expensive for the arms. Its what I run now but I always had fun with a std 3.5" lift and a wristed arm also. Is it flex you're after? Bigger tires? Look into full width axles. How bad ass do you wanna go? I'd recomment keeping the looks of the Bronco but here's some ideas to kick around...

Thanks for the pics. The full size axles look *******, but I would like to keep the body of the bronco as stock as possible, and still get the most performance possible. Maybe a 5.5" Cage system w/ long travel what do you think.
