Hey all,

Ok I was working on my spindle and broke the Bronco ABS Sensor & cover that go's on the sensor

on front of the spindle.

What would the pice that go's on the ABS Sensor on front of the spindle be called and does anyone

have one for sale or know who would have one for sale?

Just a guess, ABS Sensor Cover. I doubt that you can buy it sepertly, they probably come as a unit. How broken is it? If it is just the cover, you could probably try using epoxy glue to fix it. There are some amazing adhesive products now days.

Good luck,

It's a goner no-go :(( .. If I can not find one, I may have to have one fabricated and that may cost more then it is worth.

Would it be hard to remove ABS system on the 95 ? Would it be advisable ?

I know that there was a time before ABS and the brakes still worked then..

thanks..

my front left abs sensor is also damaged from me doing the balljoints. i'm just too lazy to fix :)) i just removed the ABS light from my dash board so i didn't have it staring at me all the time

no other problems to report from me doing this though next time i do the ball joints or brakes, i will haveto drill out the old sensor from it's hole :glare: to get the abs working again..

best of luck

Ya, the down side to it all I still have not been able to remove my ball joints.

I bent the plug that go's in the end of the ***** jack on my C-frame.

I mean ford did not give a person much room to work with when it comes to removing the ball joints. I mean how is one to get the receiving cup under the ball joint and still have room to thread in the ***** jack into the c-frame...

ps.

I just took a socket and hammer to the *** metal on the front side of abs sensor and it pop right on out..

easest way to get the old ball joint out is to set in vice and then hit with 5lb sledge should just pop out after the 2nd or third hit then use the C-frame to press in the new joint... thats how i did mine then i had to take back apart 2 weeks later when my front right spring broke  was not happy bout that living near an ocean really rusts things up for me thats y i need to drill out the old sensor it won't come out i've tryed then sayed i'll get to it another time......that hasn't happened yet b-(

Ok,

One of my Ford dealers here in town had the ABS sensor covers / shields in stock the covers are sold as a pair one for each side and they come with the bolts to mount them on..

Just to let you know if you did not know already..

Have a good one..
