ok heres the situation ive installed allmost a compleatly new brake system and the just dont seem right i think it something to do with the new rotors or the new calipers first of all they make a clicking soung when i go over bumps but thats because the pads arnt tight against the rotors theres a slight gap when im not braking is ti possable that the calipers are on the wrong side is that even possable what ever it is it just ****** me off its a 90 5.8ltr xlt

If the retaining clips for the pads aren't there or are bad then you'll get a clicking sound. I don't think that you can put clipers on the wrong side but hey, anythings possible. Also, did you do good break bleed? If you don't bleed the system then there is a posibility that the piston inside the caliper isn't out far enough and that's bad. Just some suggestions...

If the bleeder valve is to the top its on the right side . Mine had that ticking noise when I put disk brakes on the back it did end up being those little stainless steel clips that go on the ends of the inboard pad . :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

That or , you need to bleed the brakes once again, also you have ABS, then the bleeding process is different, check what you missing !
