Brakes

Yeah when I apply my brakes from inside the bronco I can hear a very noticable hissing noise like maybe my booster is leaking and also the brakes don't stop that good any way so is it the booster bad?

If the pedal is hard (no assist from the booster) and the hiss is only audible, or is louder when the pedal is depressed, then I would agree with your diagnosis.

It gets louder as I press the brake pedal but the brake pedal is actually kind of spongy
