If you go mudding and dont wash your car does the mud rot your brakes, or damage it?

Im wondering i've heard it does but you guys are the best i trust you soo does it?

The fronts are disks and as such they really don't hold mud or debris. The rear drums will self-clean with a few miles of driving once you leave the trail. Having said that it's not a bad idea to get in the habit of cleaning your truck after a trail ride. I usually put the lawn sprinkler on the hose & toss it under the truck for 20min or so when I get home.

Same here, I have not seen any direct damage from mud to the brakes. IT's a good idea to flush the fluid once a year to remove any water or contaminants that the brake fluid will absorb. Our mud is a black gumbo that doesn't wash off easily, so I like to let it dry and flake off during the next ride. On my work trucks, I will wash them to get any mud out of the rims that can cause the wheel to go out of balance. JSM84
