specification for front brake rotors on a 1989 Bronco? I just bought the Bronco and performing my own inspections prior to taking it in for a State of Maryland safety inspection, which is required for a two-year registration. Thanks for replies.

Check a Haynes or Chilton manual as they normally list them in there. If not, ask at your favorite auto parts store, if they are good and know what they are doing, they will share that info with you.

Its stamped on the side of the roter somewhere. Take a wire brush and get the mud and dirt off it and look for the numbers. Then measure it with a gauge or go to the part store and they will measure it for you and let you know. Best thing is get friends with a guy in a brake shop and use them until the warp!

If they have ever been turned down, replace them. If in doubt that they are safe, like they look a little thin or scored up, replace them. After all, it's you but that is at stake. They are not hard to replace. /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
