Hello guys,

I just became a proud owner of a 92 ford bronco EB with a 5.0 this past friday. I absolutely love the truck with the exception of the gas mileage. lol . I have a problem. When I go to stop, the brake pedal sometimes pulsates and goes to the floor. The previous owner said he replaced the master but that didn't fix the problem. Could it be the power booster, have air in the lines, or what? I dont have a strong enough jack to lift the truck up so I can take the wheels off so I really not sure of what it can be. Any ideas???

Buy a jack, my guess would be air or possible leak somewhere in the lines, does it ALWAYS do the floor drop or just occasionally?

If the pedal pulsates it could be the ABS system. If you aren't 100% sure on how to service brakes or have no training, see a professional.

it only does it occasionally. I will have to buy a jack cause i dont have a jack if i get a flat anyway. i was thinking it could be the abs cause it does pulsate sometimes. but I will have to check it out when i get a chance. thanks
