Hey BG,

Get a wide plastic scraper from Home Depot. Get one kinda stiff, but it must be plastic. If they are glued on, squirt a little "Goof-Off" on the edge and let it sink in. ( try it on an inconspicuous area and see that it doesn't remove the paint).

Use the scraper to get an end pulled up. After it starts I have found they get easier to pull off. Just squirt the Goof-off on as you pull, and take your time.

If they are the kind that are snapped in. Get the scraper under the top or bottom and gently pry up.

Good Luck

Ya., on the EB there's a 1"x2" (approx.) plastic clip screwed (or rivited) to the body.

Also in some areas/years there is a spring-steel wire clip. Maybe 5-7 inches apart.

---Seems each end of a chrome strip has a small ***** & nut holding one of the spring or metal tab type clips. This keeps the ends fr. popping up. (Remove the nut) ---

Try not to damage the trim strip... once you get it started, you'll be able to see the next clip by pulling the trim out a bit. Prying just above the edge of clips helps.

Plastic tool may not be strong enough. May need a worn down (a bit) putty knife with some duct or masking tape on the blade to protect the paint if thats an issue.

Some of the clips may snap in half.
